RainClock commits to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. The product is used on muddy sites in direct sunlight, so accessibility here is not an afterthought; it is the same work as making the product usable at all.
What is implemented
- Status and urgency are never conveyed by color alone; every state carries a glyph and text.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 on all reading surfaces.
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus states; the inspection flow is traversable by keyboard and screen reader on desktop.
- Labeled forms with inline, text-based error messages.
- Large touch targets in the mobile field flow.
Limitations
Third-party surfaces we rely on (Stripe checkout and the billing portal) are governed by their own accessibility programs. Exported binder documents are generated for print and follow a plain black-and-white document layout.
